Mom & baby given welcome home baby shower at JBrew

A baby shower was held for Stacy Khan at JBrew Coffee from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday.

The registration table was decorated with pastel colors, a diaper cake, baby carriage made of baby handcloths and a baby photograph of baby Daibrein. The room was decorated throughout with baby blue and white balloons, baby blue decorations and baby themed decorations.

A two-tiered decorated cake made out of "BABY" blocks served as the centerpiece for the refreshment table. Refreshments included enchilada casserole, rice, beans, chips, salsa, punch and freshly brewed tea.

Special guests included the paternal grandmother, Josie Lopez, and aunts, Laura Ortiz and Brenda Ortiz.

Hostesses Josie Lopez, Brenda Ortiz, Laura Ortiz, Alice Villarreal, Raeassia Villarreal-Jacobs and Ciji Reyes presented Stacy with a Chicco Citta Twin Stroller. Other gifts included baby clothing and necessities, and a special gift from the paternal grandmother, a bronze baby photo album engraved with baby Daibrein's name, birth date, time of birth and birth weight.
