Baby shower honors mom-to-be

Jenna Hooker, who is expecting twin boys, was given a baby shower Sunday afternoon, Oct. 21 at the home of Laura Cranek. Hostesses were Kaylynn Bishop, Susan Bishop, Sandra Cranek, Sheri Feitshans, Jerica Smidovec and Karen Womack.

Refreshments included coffee, punch, finger sandwiches, chips, grapes, and a cake with two sets of foot prints inscribed with "Welcome Baby Boys," Lifesavers candy pacifiers and blue chocolate candies shaped like booties and pacifiers.

Special guests were Laura Cranek of El Campo and Carolyn Hooker of Cat Springs, future grandmothers; and Lorraine Cranek of El Campo and Marilyn Paul of Houston, future great-grandmothers.

Approximately 25 family and friends attended. Jenna received a Graco snug ride car seat from the hostesses.
