Anti-crime group gets state grant

      Gov. Rick Perry awarded more than $576,000 in grants to 56 Crime Stoppers programs across Texas Monday, including $4,224 to a local program. West Wharton County Crime Stoppers received a grant to be used for information systems, equipment and conferences.
