Police Blotter City Arrests Alcohol, drugs Henry Duane Schreiber, 47, of 2215 Bunton Dr. was arrested at 12:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 on charges of driving while intoxicated and no insurance and cited for open alcohol container in a motor vehicle, after being stopped for running a flashing red light. He was released on $3,000 bond. Vicente Rodriguez Chavez, 47, of 302 W. First was arrested at 8:42 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 on a warrant for open alcohol container in a motor vehicle and charges of public intoxication and walking in the roadway. He remained in custody at presstime. Samantha Nicole Martinez, 17, of 501 Pierce was arrested at 9:31 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of 2 ounces or less of marijuana and minor in possession of tobacco, after police went to investigate a loud music complaint and saw her in a car parked on the wrong side of the road. She was held on $13,000 bond as of 12:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5. John Patrick Pesina, 38, of 1213 Vallejo was arrested at 11:51 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 on a charge of driving while intoxicated - second offense and cited for open alcohol container in a motor vehicle, after allegedly driving his motorcycle into a ditch. He was released at 10 a.m. the next day on $5,000 bond. Maximino Guzman, 41, of 605 N. Wharton was arrested at 2:27 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 4 on two warrants for open alcohol container in a motor vehicle and a warrant for violating the city's glass bottle ordinance. He remained in custody at presstime. Sharon Denise Chaney, 47, of Victoria was arrested at 5:39 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4 on a charge of driving while intoxicated and a Victoria County warrant for theft between $20 and $500, after police were called to find a reckless driver and allegedly saw her car weaving on U.S. 59. She was transferred to Wharton County Jail the next day. Christopher Allen Aguirre, 24, of 209 W. Sixth was arrested at 7:43 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4 on charges of driving while intoxicated, expired driver's license and no insurance, after allegedly driving 49 mph in a 30 mph zone. He was released at 11:10 a.m. the next day on $3,000 bond. Property Gabriel Christopher Delgado, 32, of Lake Jackson was arrested at 6:10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2 on two warrants for issuance of a bad check. He was released the same day after paying $882.03 in fines. Maria Cortez Booker, 30, of 1099 CR 410 in El Campo was arrested at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2 on a warrant for issuance of a bad check. She was released the same day on $357.01 bond. Rachel Alameda Lara, 32, of 1102 N. Washington surrendered at county jail at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 on a warrant for theft. She was released on $10,000 bond. She was released at 12:15 p.m. the next day on $2,500 bond. Other Ramiro Juarez, 42, of 1316 Jennie was booked at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30 on a warrant for contempt of court. He was held on $3,000 bond as of 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1. Anthony Perez, 36, of 123 Shimek was booked Tuesday, Oct. 30 for probation violation. He was held without bond as of 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1. Priscilla Medina, 27, of 109 Jan was booked at 9:07 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31 for probation violation. She was released at 2:40 p.m. the same day on $5,000 bond.
