Bridal shower honors Uresti

Heather Uresti, bride-elect of Bart Bacak, was given a come-and-go miscellaneous shower Saturday morning, Oct. 20, at the home of Ross and Peggy Glaze of El Campo.

Hostesses were Lavern Bacak, Lennie Blaha, Susan Dettling, Shari Dornak, Peggy Glaze, Daphne Hensley, Joyce Hensley, Lillian Martin, Becky Mitchell, Edith Molberg, Lachelle Pasak and Tria Svatek.

The bride's chosen colors of pink and brown accented the home.

Refreshments included an assortment of cheese rolls, quiche, fresh fruit, cake, coffee and punch.

Special guests were Mary Ann Uresti, mother of the bride-to-be; Dee Ann Bacak, future groom's mother; Janet Sparkman, grandmother of the bride-to-be; and Mary Sohrt, future groom's grandmother.

Hostesses presented the honoree with a wooden flatware storage chest and five-piece place setting of flatware.
