Mr. and Mrs. Oliver B. Miles Jr. of El Campo announce the birth of their third and fourth children, twin daughters named Riannah Lynn Miles and Kiannah Lynn Miles, born Oct. 31, 2007 at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Wharton. Riannah was born at 8:27 a.m., weighing 6 pounds, 8 ounces. Kiannah was born at 8:28 a.m., weighing 5 pounds, 11 ounces.

The babies are welcomed home by three brothers and a sister, Christian Louis Miles, 2 years, 9 months; Oliver B. Miles III, 22 months; Joshua Sherman, age 14; and Latasha Sherman, age 19.

Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ismeal Gonzalez of El Campo. Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Oliver B. Miles Sr. of El Campo.

Great-grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthuro Gutierrez, the late Maggie Miles and Gladis Wysong; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Roberts.

The mother is the former Priscilla Lynn Padron.

Rayann Cardenas

Rene Cardenas and Laura Ann Wells of El Campo announce the birth of their first child, a daughter named Rayann Angela Cardenas. The baby was born at 3:06 p.m., Nov. 6, 2007 at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Wharton weighing 7 pounds, 12 ounces.

Maternal grandparents are the Rev. Ray Wells and Judith Wells of Sonora. Paternal grandparents are Daniel and Angela Cardenas of El Campo.

Great-grandparents are Felecita Cardenas of Louise and Julia Hebel.
