Nada Society hosts games for area residents Members of the Nada Christian Mothers' Society were joined by the Nada Catholic Daughters as they visited residents of the River Oaks Convalescent Center in Columbus last Thursday. Approximately 30 residents were entertained with games of bingo followed by refreshments of assorted cookies, candies, punch and pear bread prepared by Christian Mothers' President Rose Staff. Residents who are on restricted diets were served a sugarfree cake provided and served by the center's volunteers. Hostesses were chairwoman Clara Gold, who was assisted by Kim Gold and Cathy Buchta. Refreshments were provided by Olga Lundquist, Cathy Buchta, Clara Gold, Bernita Korenek, Rose Staff and Kim Gold. |
