Close Call
The 17-year-old driver of this Mustang was taken to El Campo Memorial Hospital with minor injuries after her car and an Buick LeSabre collided at Hwy. 71 North and Calhoun Street Thursday morning. The force of the accident drove both vehicles toward Sunshine Laundry and Dry Cleaning, destroying a street sign and forcing the Buick into a near-miss with the laundry building. The driver of the LeSabre was not injured, and neither vehicle had passengers. Further information on the accident was not available at presstime.
