Abrianna Banda turns '1'

ABRIANNA BANDA

Abrianna Marie Banda celebrated her first birthday Sunday, Nov. 11, at her home. Hosting the party were her parents, Mario and Cathy Banda, and big brother, Nicholas.

Using a "Happy 1st Birthday" theme, decorations included butterflies and flowers.

The meal consisted of barbecued beef and sausage, pinto beans, rice, potato salad and a butterfly decorated birthday cake made by her great-aunt Sally Resendez.

Special guests were her grandparents, "Momo" JoAnn and "Popo" Gilbert Escamilla and "Mommy" Tina and "Popo" Joe Banda; great-grandparents, "Mimi" Mable and "Popo" Johnnie Cabrera and "Grandma" Connie and George Vargas; godparents, Paul and Lorraine Lopez; and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The birthday girl received a Little Tykes ride-on buggy from her parents and many clothes, toys and jewelry from her guests.

Her actual birthday was Nov. 13.
