      The El Campo ISD school board decided to add a local component to the method it will use to evaluate bid proposals for upcoming construction projects, including major renovations to the high school science building and Ricebird Stadium's turf and track.

San Antonio water project discussed at county court

      Keeping local water resources local was a topic of discussion for Wharton County Commissioners as they reemphasized the importance of a resolution passed last year opposing the Lower Colorado River Authority/San Antonio Water Service project to ship water to the Alamo City.
