Shirley Reissig

Shirley Rae Reissig, age 83 of El Campo, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007. She was born on Dec. 14, 1923 in Vienna to the late Ed and Willie Harvey Sawyer.

Mrs. Reissig was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church and the El Campo Art Association.

Her survivors include daughters, Jo Dayle Grissom of Houston, Jalyn Sternadel and husband Herbert of Sugar Land, Jonyce Boone and husband Barry of Cuero; two grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Albert Reissig.

Visitation was 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007 at Triska Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. today, Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007 at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Rick DuBroc officiating. Burial will be at the Willow Creek Cemetery.

The family asks that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
