Lady 'Birds' chemistry works

      The Ricebirds finished the Leroy Miksch Memorial Tournament with a win over tournament host Needville Saturday. EC swim team finishes third with five girls
      El Campo's girls swim team traveled to Brazosport Saturday for another meet, but this time had a limited team. Only five girls made the trip to compete against Angleton, Brazosport and Brazoswood's two teams, but El Campo managed a good outing and came home with the third-place plaque.

      El Campo's seventh-grade Red girls basketball team won the Wharton Tournament championship with three wins. Lady Birds 30, Bellville 10 A strong first half put the Lady 'Birds in charge early in their first tournament game.
