Anderson clinic takes top honors

The El Campo Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture has announced the official winners of Thursday's night's annual Parade of Lights.

The Grand Marshal prizewinning entry was Anderson Dental Clinic, picked by parade Grand Marshal Rita Radley, who is also 2006 Citizen of the Year.Winners by category are:

Noncommercial Winners: 1st place, SPJST; 2nd place, Faith Lutheran Church; 3rd place, El Campo Faith Center.

Commercial Winners: 1st place, Anderson Dental Clinic; 2nd place, Hoccheim Prairie Insurance; 3rd place, H-E-B.

Vehicle: 1st place, ECVFD Rescue Truck with Children; 2nd place, Toby Schoeneberg; 3rd place, United States Postal Service.

Marching/Walking: 1st place, Silver Wings Arch Angel Skate Team; 2nd place, Derby Dolls; 3rd place, X-Treme Jazz Booster Club.

Equestrian: 1st place, Dirty South Trail Riders; 2nd place, Heritage Carriage Company; 3rd place, Rocking Triangle Horsebreaking.
