Herma Slavik

Herma Lee Drabek Slavik, 97, of El Campo, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007.

She was born July 18, 1910 in Shiner to Charles and Anna Fridel Drabek.

She was a retired cashier at Frnka Food Market and was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America.

She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Miller of El Campo; son-in-law, Ronald Bennett of Victoria; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Slavik was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stanley Slavik; and daughter, Peggy Bennett.

A Rosary was recited Thursday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass was held Friday, Dec. 7 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Philip Catholic Church with the Rev. Gary Janak officiating.

Interment followed at Holy Cross Memorial Park under the direction of Triska Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Randy Miller, Alan Bennett, Robert Montalvo, Milton Slavik, C.A. Drabek and Jason Sievers.
