LHS wins first home match
      The Hornets' first home game of the 2007-08 basketball season was a success. Louise hosted the Goliad Tigers Friday and finished with a 57-50 win. Matthew Vasquez gave the Hornets a boost with 26 total points on the night while several other Hornets scored in single digits to secure the victory.

Bain, Brown lead Louise's district honors

      Louise's varsity volleyball team earned eight spots on the All-District 28-A teams. Amber Bain and Katie Brown led the Lady Hornets with all-district selections. Bain was named the district MVP and Brown was named newcomer of the year.
