ST. PHILIP BASKETBALL UPDATE

St. Philip took on Sacred Heart Dec. 3 and split a pair of games to go 1-1 on the night.

St. Philip A

The Pioneers earned an exciting victory over Sacred Heart. Four quarters were not enough to determine the winner in this close match. Even an extra period kept both teams tied.

St. Philip finally came through in double overtime to finish with a thrilling 24-22 win. Lauren Gregurek led the Pioneers with 18 points while Rebecca Korenek, Shelby Snyder and Rebecca Dornak each scored 2 points.

The Pioneers fell in a defensive struggle to Sacred Heart 12-4.
