City Arrests Violence, weapons

Benito Trevino Jr., 23, of 418 E. Hillje was arrested at 12:39 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13 on a charge of assault bodily injury - family violence. He remained in custody at presstime.

Mary Darlene Kansteiner, 41, of 1415 E. Jackson was arrested at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11 on a warrant for false report to a police officer. She was released the same day on $1,000 bond.

Anthony Ray Shelton, 45, of 407 S. Washington was arrested at 6:26 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11 on a Wharton County warrant for bond forfeiture-DUI and charges of no driver's license, no insurance, failure to stop and give information after a motor vehicle crash and running a stop sign. Police say Shelton reportedly hit a sedan with his truck, left the scene and parked behind his house, where he was arrested. He remained in custody at presstime.

Willie Davis Jr., 57, of 816 Roth was arrested at 9:06 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12 on a Wharton County warrant for failure to appear, three warrants for issuance of a bad check and a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He remained in custody at presstime.

Wal-Mart Supercenter, 3413 West Loop reported, theft of two coffee makers worth $40 each and two Kodak screens worth $250 each.

County Jail Bookings Alcohol, drugs

David Flores, 31, of 9445 FM 102 in Glen Flora, was booked Thursday, Dec. 6 on $12,500 bond for driving while intoxicated (third offense or more) and driving while license invalid with previous conviction.

Robert C. VonDerAu, 22, of Regency Drive in El Campo was booked Thursday, Dec. 6 for two counts of failure to appear. He was released the same day on $20,000 bond.
