Jessica Whisnant & Taylor Radley recite vows

MR. AND MRS. TAYLOR BITTNER RADLEY JESSICA ANNE WHISNANT
Jessica Anne Whisnant and Taylor Bittner Radley were united in marriage during a double ring ceremony June 16, 2007 at 5:30 p.m. at B Bar J Ranch in Columbus.

The bride is the daughter of Bob and Julie Whisnant of Columbus. She is the granddaughter of Alvin and Glenda Theut and the late Mary Ann Theut of L'Anse, Mich., and Mary Whisnant of Brenham and the late Robert Whisnant.

The groom is the son of Gary and Susan Radley of El Campo. He is the grandson of Adeline Schindler and the late Bernard L. Schindler of Wharton and Rita Radley and the late Robert Radley of El Campo.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride chose an Eve of Milady strapless gown made of duchess silk satin. Her strapless neckline was adorned with a filigree embroidered pattern accented with Swarovski crystals and diamantes that graduated down the couture-seamed bodice to a heavily embellished dropped waistline. The filigree embroidered pattern with Austrian stones and crystals danced around the bottom of the ball gown skirt into a cathedral length train. To compliment her gown, the bride wore a round, rhinestone hairpiece with a chapel-length veil. She also wore her late grandmother's diamond pendant necklace. The bride's bouquet consisted of agapanthus, iris, tulips, hydrangea, freesia, lisianthus and scabiosa in soft shades of pink, lavender and green.

Elizabeth Prantera of Royal Oak, Mich. served as maid of honor and Kaci O'Bannon of College Station was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Brooke Radley, sister of the groom; and Sabrina Hensley, Keri Howard, Jennifer Rice and Anita Barrett, all friends of the bride.

The bridesmaids wore strapless tea-length chiffon gowns from B2 by Jasmine Collection in the color of wisteria. They carried round bouquets of hydrangea in deep lavender, pink and blue.

Flower girls were Isabelle and Abagael Theut and Meredith Radley. They wore white sleeveless organza tealength dresses with wisteria organza sashes.

The groom wore a black Jones New York tuxedo with a platinum vest. Clint and Heath Radley, brothers of the groom, served as best men. Groomsmen were Bobby Whisnant, Nick Tupa, Chad Kight, Dustin Kight and Cuatro Strack. Cody Radley, Blair Ross Couey, Shawn Hickl and Jerry Shelton served as ushers. Grant Howard served as the ring bearer.

The ceremony's music was performed by Michael Morrison, cousin of the bride.

An outdoor reception immediately followed the ceremony at B Bar J Ranch. The dinner was catered by Party Thyme Catering Service and consisted of prime rib with shiitake demi-glace and horseradish cream, roasted turkey breast with Jack Daniels mustard, herb-creamed potatoes, bow-tie pasta with grilled chicken in alfredo sauce, sauteed shrimp with pomodoro sauce and sauteed fresh vegetables. Guests enjoyed live music performed by the band Easy Money with a surprise performance by the groom on the drums. A fireworks display was provided by Austin Wedding Fireworks.

A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held at B Bar J Ranch on the eve of the wedding and was catered by Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant.

Following their honeymoon to Antigua, the couple now resides in Columbus.
