Servitude Honored
Society of St. Vincent de Paul members honored Eddie Cantu on his retirement from the society after 46 years of service. The society provides several services, including food programs, emergency financial assistance, disaster relief, low-cost housing, shelters for the homeless, thrift stores, counseling, prison ministry, education programs and much more. "I have learned that God has put us here to help our brothers in need through this society," Cantu said. Cantu is also a member of the Knights of Columbus and serves as a Eucharistic minister.
