Louise winners light up the holiday skies

First Place - 1212 W. North in Louise

The Louise community is sparkling this holiday season as Christmas lights shine in yards throughout the small township.

Those especially bright are the three homes winning the annual Louise -Hillje Chamber of Commerce Christmas Lighting contest.

First place honors this year went to the home of Bingo and Dolores Krauskopf at 1212 W. North.

Capturing second place were Carmen and Jessie Mae Gonzalez at 600 Second while Scott and Kendra Charbula at 210 Second took third.

In all, 11 homes in the community entered the contest.

The Louise community added a new category this year - businesses.

The winners of this contest are: Chromcak Co. in first place, Country Bride in second and Crowell Drilling in third.
