Police Blotter City Arrests Tobias Gutierrez Cruces, 42, of 608 Alamo was arrested at 9:01 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21 on a charge of driving while intoxicated - third offense after failing to signal a turn. He was released at 12:05 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24 on $25,000 bond. Patrick Lynn Murray, 37, of 811 Marionette was arrested at 2:27 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 23 on charges of driving while intoxicated and no insurance, after allegedly speeding down Palacios Street, running a stop sign, turning onto Marionette then driving into a ditch and hitting a tree. He was released at 11:30 a.m. the next day on $3,000 bond. Abel Cantero Ramirez, 26, of 204 N. Wharton was arrested at 1:29 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 25 on charges of driving while intoxicated, no driver's license and no insurance. He was released at 10:55 a.m. the next day on $2,000 bond. Cesar Julian Herrera, 32, of 307 Lundy Ave. was arrested at 12:15 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27 on charges of driving while intoxicated with a child under age 15 in the vehicle and open alcohol container in a motor vehicle. He allegedly was speeding and swerving with two children in the vehicle, ages 3 and 5. He was released at 9:40 a.m. the same day on $10,000 bond. Property Latoya Monique Roberts, 26, of 1205 Alice Ave. was arrested at 7:09 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21 on a Victoria County warrant for theft by check between $20 and $500, charges of no driver's license, no insurance and child between the ages of 4 and 14 not secured by a seat belt, three warrants for failure to show proof of an animal license, two warrants for failure to show proof of a rabies vaccination and warrants for minor in possession of an alcoholic beverage, violating the city's loud music ordinance, running a stop sign, no driver's license and no insurance and a Wharton County warrant for failure to identify - fugitive from justice. She was transferred to county jail the next day, sent back to ECPD Monday, Dec. 24 and released that same day after paying $200 toward her $3,890.98 in fines and being put on a payment plan for the remainder. Michele Lynn Parson, 37, of 122 W. Alfred was arrested at 2:57 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 25 on a warrant for issuance of a bad check and a charge of no insurance. She was released the same day on $671.14 bond. Violence, weapons Jimmy Dow Greenhaw Jr., 41, of 808 Heights Ave. was arrested at 3:55 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 25 on a charge of assault family violence. He was held on $2,500 bond as of 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27. Scotty Russell McLain, 29, of 279 CR 239 in Ganado was arrested at 8:17 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26 on a warrant for possession of child pornography. He was held on $15,000 bond as of 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27. Other Pedro Rosales Gomez, 35, of 800 Alice Ave. was arrested at 1:49 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22 on charges of failure to identify - fugitive from justice and public intoxication, three warrants for public intoxication, a warrant for disorderly conduct - language and two warrants for assault family violence. He was released from county jail Saturday, Dec. 22 on $3,000 bond and from municipal jail Sunday, Dec. 23 after paying $3,108.45 in fines. Oscar Terrazas Jr., 23, of HC 64, Box 10E in El Campo was arrested at 7:56 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22 on a Nueces County warrant for probation violation, a Wharton County warrant for theft by check, warrants for littering and public intoxication and two warrants for open container in a motor vehicle. He was held without bond as of 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27. Jackie Lynn Vaughn, 48, of Wichita Falls was arrested at 8:35 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 23 on an Austin State Parole Board parole violation warrant.
