Police Blotter City Arrests Other Nicholas Juan "BB" Garcia, 25, of 120 Julius was arrested at 12:50 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26 on a U.S. Marshall's Service probation violation warrant, a Brazoria County warrant for bond forfeiture, charges of failure to identify - fugitive from justice, resisting arrest, search or transport and public intoxication and warrants for minor in possession of an alcoholic beverage and public intoxication. After being handcuffed by an El Campo officer, Garcia reportedly slipped out of one link and struggled with officers even after being pepper sprayed. He was held without bond as of 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27. Luis Manuel Pinon Camarillo, 24, of Bryan was arrested Thursday, Dec. 27 by the Brazos County Sheriff's Department on El Campo warrants for escape from custody, no valid driver's license, no insurance, failure to stop and give information, backing without safety/unsafe backing and open alcohol container in a motor vehicle. On Dec. 1, Camarillo allegedly escaped from the back of a police car after being arrested following a hit-and-run accident at a local bar, in which he reportedly backed his vehicle into another, then fled. Kim Couvillion reported criminal mischief causing $200 damage to an SUV's window at 231 Clifford between 1:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15. Maria Vasquez reported the burglary of a habitation at 2325 FM 1160 in Louise at 1:19 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16. Burglars stole a PS2 game console worth $130, eight PS2 games worth $20 each, 150 DVDs totaling $3,000, $1,060 in currency and coins and $750 in surf rods and reels. Joseph Rodriguez reported criminal mischief to a vehicle parked at 303 White Wing Trail in El Campo between 4:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 and 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16. Vandals did $400 damage to the vehicle. A.G. Miller reported criminal mischief to a vehicle parked at 482 CR 362 in El Campo between 8:24 and 8:35 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16. Vandals did $3,000 damage to a truck and $300 damage to a 20-foot rack that held up mailboxes.
