COURT REPORTS

Those pleading guilty to felony level crimes in Wharton County's 329th District Court and accepting punishment include:

• Tashanda Trevette Moore, 28, of 1 Serena Dr. in El Campo for abandoning a child. She was placed on two years deferred probation, fined $200 and ordered to perform 60 hours community service.

• Elashunda Denise Bailey, 31, address unavailable, for possession of a controlled substance. Her probation on the prior conviction was revoked and she was sentenced to six months in state jail with credit for time served.

• Richard Perez, 27, of 408 1/2 Oscar in El Campo for possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver. He was sentenced to seven years in prior with an order to pay $250 restitution.

A second possession charge was set aside as part of the plea bargain agreement.

• Dangelo Shorpshire, 21, address unavailable, for assault of a public servant. His probation was revoked and he was sentenced to two years in prison with credit for some time already served.

• Lupe Almanzar, 70, address unavailable, for driving while intoxicated. He was placed on five years probation and must attend a substance abuse for felons program.

• Roland Dewayne Sanchez, 22, of 322 W. Railroad in Boling for indecency with a child (exposure). He was placed on six years deferred probation on the condition he serve 90 days in county jail. Sanchez received credit for time already served.

• Erik Deshawn Kimble, 29, address unavailable, for possession of a controlled substance.

His probation on the prior conviction was revoked and he was sentenced to 180 days in state jail with credit for time served.

• Joe Garcia, 33, address unavailable for theft by check. He was placed on four years deferred probation with an order to pay $5,263.16 restitution.
