COURT REPORTS

Those pleading guilty to felony level crimes in Wharton County's 329th District Court and accepting punishment include:

• Hubert Wayne Kemper, 50, of CR 243 in Wharton for burglary of a habitation and unlawful possession of a firearm. He was placed on three years deferred probation on the condition that he serve 90 days in county jail.

Kemper was also ordered to pay $797 restitution and perform 100 hours community service.

He received credit for time already served.

A theft charge was set aside as part of the plea bargain agreement.

• David Esparza Guerra Jr., 19, address unavailable, for forgery. He was placed on two years deferred probation on the condition he serve 60 days in county jail, pay $250 restitution and obtain counseling.

Guerra received credit for time served.

• Alejandro Vasquez Padron, 28, of 1314 Sam for driving while intoxicated. He was placed on six years probation on the condition he serve 30 days in county jail and perform 120 hours community service.

Padron received credit for time already served.

In a separate court action, his prior conviction for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was adjudicated. He was sentenced to 180 days in state jail, but received credit for the full time served.

• Michael Zavala, 22, of 18845 Imperial Eagle Lane in Elgin for forgery. His earlier conviction was adjudicated and he was sentenced to 14 days in county jail with credit for the full time served.
