Rev. Dawson to speak at Sanctity of Life event Jan. 7

Members of the El Campo Life Advocates met Monday evening, Jan. 7, at the Charles Merta residence to discuss the upcoming Sanctity of Life program to be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 29 at the El Campo Civic Center.

The featured speaker for the event will be the Rev. E.L. Dawson, pastor of Progressive Missionary Baptist Church. Music will be provided by their junior choir.

The public is invited to attend this free event. Refreshments will be served afterwards.

Life Advocates want to remind pro-life participants of two rallies for life being held this month: the Texas Alliance for Life's annual rally at the Capitol in Austin on Jan. 26 from 2-3 p.m. (Call 512-477- 1244 for more information); and the 35th annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. at noon, Jan. 22 outside the Capitol building.

of dialogue with our public officials."
