Ruth Elston

Ruth Eloise Kieth Elston, 75, of Irving, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2008 in Dallas.

Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 7 at 2 p.m. at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ed Dittfurth officiating. Interment followed at the West End Cemetery in Stephenville.

Eloise was born on May 12, 1932 in Van to Hensley and Letha Kieth Sr. She married Albert Elston on March 24, 1956 in Houston and he preceded her in death on Nov. 29, 1978.

Eloise has resided in Irving since 2002. She grew up in Louise and also previously lived in Stephenville. She graduated from Wharton County Junior College with an LVN degree and worked in the nursing profession. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Joletha White and Glenn Bilbrey of Van; sons, Kevin Elston of Irving, and Kalin Elston and wife Karla of Stephenville; grandchildren, Ketyn Elston, Kolbe Elston, Brigit Elston Hill, Clynt Hunter, Rachel White and Lara White; great-grandchildren, Kaynon Hill, Malik Hill, Joshua Knight and Jacob Knight; brother, Hensley Kieth Jr. of Houston; sister, Beverly Ann Murray of Houston.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Dennye Jo Kieth, and Billie Margaret Walters; a son, Daryl Dewayne Elston; and her husband Albert Rudolph Elston.
