Jenna Cerny & William Lepak exchange wedding vows at St. Philip

Jenna Renee Cerny and William Paul Lepak were united in marriage at 2 p.m., Jan. 12, 2008 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. Father Gary Janak performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Larry and Susan Cerny of El Campo. Parents of the groom are Mark and Linda Lepak of Claremore, Okla. The bride's grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Werner Pavlik and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfonce Cerny, all of El Campo. The groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Clement Lepak of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Kitty Stoia and the late George Stoia of Bartlesville, Okla.
Decorations featured red poinsettias placed throughout the entire church.
Music was provided by Janice Cox, organist and vocalist; Diane Bard, cantor; and Brian Lepak, soloist. Selections included "We Give You Thanks," "I Can Only Imagine," Pachelbel's "Canon in D," "Ave Maria" and "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring." The processional was "Trumpet Voluntary" by Purcell. The gathering song was "Blest Are They." "I will take the cup of life. I will call God's name all my days," was the responsorial psalm and the presentation of the gifts was "The Summons." "How Beautiful" was played during communion and songs for the recessional included "Trumpet Tune" by Purcell and "Sound the Trumpet."
The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a strapless, romantic A-line gown in a soft pearl hue by Madeline Gardner for Mori Lee Bridal. Elaborate silver embroidery embellished the fitted bodice that featured crystal edging on the contoured neckline and dropped waistline. The skirt was decorated with medallions of embroidery and beading that flowed onto the breathtaking semi-cathedral length train. For her headdress and veil she chose a fingertip veil with Austrian crystals sprinkled throughout. She carried a bouquet of white cala lilies accented with variegated hosta leaves, tree fern, tuberose and crystals. The bouquet was adorned with a crystal rosary once belonging to the bride's grandmother, "Granny" Rosie Cerny.
The bride was attended by the maid of honor, Andrea Reck of Sugar Land, friend of the bride; and bridesmaids: Sarah Lepak of Kansas City, Kan., sister of the groom; Cassie Rice of Austin, Jennifer Savino of Sugar Land, Traci Triplett, Ashley Frankson and Alicia Vacek, all of Houston and Jenna Zabodyn of El Campo, all friends of the bride.
Attendants wore strapless, floor-length satin gowns by Alfred Angelo in the color claret. They carried a bouquet of calla lilies and tree fern.
Flower girl was Kinsley Cerny, niece of the bride. The ring bearer was Kolin Cerny, nephew of the bride.
Best men were the brothers of the groom: Benjamin Lepak of South Bend, Ind., Robert Lepak of Norman, Okla., and Brian Lepak of Fort Collins, Colo. Groomsmen were Jeff Cerny of Hungerford and Keith Cerny of Louise, brothers of the bride; and Eric Daugherty of Nevada, Mo., Michael Sagely of Norman, Okla. and Ryan Alonso of Houston, all friends of the groom.
Ushers were Aaron Clark of Owasso, Okla., Will Henry of Cleveland, Ohio and Chris Lee of Houston, all friends of the groom.
Altar servers were Seana Stoia and George Stoia III, cousins of groom. Witnesses were Kristie Cerny and Brandi Cerny, sisters-in-law of the bride. The wedding coordinator was Janel English. Lectors were Brian and Abby Gaffney. Gift bearers were Elizabeth Stoia and Keith Lepak. Eucharistic ministers were Wayne Bard, Nicole Capps, and Susan Nohavitza. Program attendants were Kylie, Garrett and Bethany Capps.
Immediately following the ceremony, a reception, dinner and dance were held at the El Campo Civic Center. Grand march leaders were Don and Shirley Krenek and Nathan and Tracey Krenek. Members of the house party were Casey English, Haley English, Ashley Rayner, Marcie Rayner and Kimberly Hajovsky.
A fajita rehearsal dinner for family and friends was held at the El Campo Civic Center Duson Room and hosted by the groom's parents.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of El Campo High School and a December 2003 graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with highest honors with a bachelor of business administration degree in marketing. She is a May 2007 graduate of The University of Texas School of Law with high honors with a doctor of jurisprudence degree. She is an attorney at Fulbright & Jaworski LLP.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Claremore High School, Claremore, Okla., and a May 2004 graduate of The University of Oklahoma with special distinction with a bachelor of business administration in finance and economics. He is a May 2007 graduate of The University of Texas School of Law with honors with a doctor of jurisprudence degree. He is currently attending New York University, working toward a master of laws in taxation. After receiving a degree from NYU, he will work as an attorney for Thompson and Knight LLP.
After a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, the couple will reside in New York City before returning to Dallas in May.
