Rothbauers celebrate 50th wedding anniversary
They had quite an adventurous first 50 years, having three children: Bruce, Gina and Neil Rothbauer. They are now blessed with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gene has been a meat cutter all these years and Lexie, a customer service representative, touching many lives along the way.
To celebrate their 50th anniversary, their children hosted a reception, dinner and dance Saturday afternoon, Jan. 12, 2008 from 2-8 p.m. at the American Legion Hall in El Campo. The event reunited their family and many friends they have met along their life's journey together.
