Pauline Shiller
      Pauline Scotka Shiller, 89, of El Campo, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008. She was born on April 18, 1918 in Nada to Ludwig and Mary Podesva Scotka. Mrs. Shiller was a kitchen supervisor at Garden Villa Nursing home for 28 years, retiring at the age of 80. She was a member of the KJZT.

      Steve Paul Ulkie, 90, of El Campo, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008. He was born on Dec. 20, 1917 in Anderson to Stash and Mary Macjieski Ulkie. He was retired from Halliburton where he worked in cementing and production for many years.
