City Arrests Alcohol, drugs

Jesse Dillard Hagan, 34, of 405 W. Jackson was arrested at 10:56 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20 on charges of driving while intoxicated, no driver's license, no insurance and expired motor vehicle inspection certificate. He was transferred to Wharton County Jail the next day and held as of 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21.

Ramiro Ambroso Rodriguez Jr., 18, of 602 August was arrested at 11:35 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20 on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He remained in custody at presstime.

Property

Rita Perez Davila, 44, of 910 Roth was arrested at 6:17 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 on six warrants for issuance of a bad check and a warrant for theft under $50. She remained in custody at presstime.

Other

Mark Anthony Vargas, 34, of 609 S. Liberty was arrested at 12:40 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18 on two warrants for disorderly conduct - language and warrants for public intoxication, disorderly conduct - fighting and theft. He remained in custody at presstime.

Rex Earl Williams, 43, of CR 379 in El Campo was arrested at 12:44 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18 on a DPS and correctional probation and parole office warrant from Baton Rouge, La. He was held without bond as of 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21.

Charles Mark Wrigley VII, 32, of 710 College was arrested at 2:13 a.m. Saturday, Jan 19 on warrants for failure to appear and public intoxication. He remained in custody at presstime.

City Incidents Property

Lamco Feeders, 704 U.S. 59 West, reported theft of a $33,400 2008 Dodge truck, a 2008 Wells Cargo gooseneck trailer worth $14,000 and an 18-foot trailer worth $1,899 between 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17 and 7:50 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18.

Schmidt Implement, 704 U.S. 59 West, reported theft of two red Exmark lawn mowers worth $17,000 and a $10,500 Arctic Prowler all-terrain vehicle between 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17 and 7:50 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18.

County Jail Bookings Alcohol, drugs

Olin Robinson, 23, of 603 E. 4th in Edna was booked at 6:24 p.m. Monday on a warrant for possession of marijuana.

Bonnie Ann Rigdon, 46, of 287 Cypress in Blessing was booked at 11:25 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16 for driving while intoxicated (second offense).

Octavia Holloway, 19, of 1007 Palacios was booked into into Wharton County Jail Thursday, Jan. 17 for delivery of a controlled substance and assault causing serious bodily injury. Bond was set at $32,500.

Property

Billy James Moreno Jr., 19, of 4820 CR 408 in El Campo was booked at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15 on a warrant for theft. He was released the same day on $1,500 bond.

Diane M. Moreno, 50, of 4820 CR 408 in El Campo was booked at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15 on warrants for theft by check and contempt of court. She was released the same day on $8,000 bond.

Bernadette Ochoa, 39, of 906 Main in Louise, was booked at 2:50 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18 on a warrant for theft by check. She was released the same day on $500 bond.

Violence, weapons

Linda Denise Hudlin, 27, of 1305 Olivia, was booked Sunday, Jan. 20 for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and capias pro fines. She was released the next day.

Harvey Joe Hudlin, 30, of 1001 Corn, was booked at 9:40 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21 for assaultfamily violence and capias pro fines. He was released to El Campo Police Department the next day.

Other

Manuel Anthony Vasquez, 18, of 805 Dunlap was booked at 12:04 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16 for motion to revoke probation. He was released Jan. 17.

Ronnie Lee Baker, 49, of 4125 Guadalupe in Port Lavaca was booked Wednesday, Jan. 16 for bond forfeiture and parole violation. He was held on $5,000 bond.

Javier Rubio, 42, of 1305 Alvin was booked Monday, Jan. 21 for making a false report to a police officer.
