Robert Johnson

Robert Earl Johnson, 46, of El Campo, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008.

He was born Oct. 4, 1961 in El Campo to Ira Johnson and Martha Lee Davis. Mr. Johnson was an Automobile Porter with Discount Auto Sales. He was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ursula Johnson of El Campo; daughter, LaKeisha Renee Parson of El Campo; son, Christopher Earl Parson of El Campo; sisters, Pearlie Mae Marshall and Ella Bell both of El Campo, Betty Mosley and Alice Bell both of Houston, Lelea Mae Herring of Chicago, Ill., Sherry Ward of Elwood, Maine and A.D. Hawkins of Glen Flora; and brothers, Fleming Carl and Mack J. Johnson both of Houston, Chester Johnson, Ira Johnson Jr., Gaylord Bell and Lorenzo Bell all of El Campo.

Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 25 from noon until 8 p.m. Funeral service will be Saturday, Jan. 26 at noon at Bible Apostolic Church with the Rev. Jeff Williams officiating. Burial will follow at El Campo Community Cemetery.
