City Arrests Alcohol, drugs

Marshall Scott Sosa, 19, of 1006 Ave. C was arrested at 2:22 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released the next day on $362.75 bond.

Jeremy Lee Acuna, 25, of 101 1/2 W. Church was arrested at 11:33 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication and cited for open alcohol container in a motor vehicle. He was released the next day on $625.50 bond.

Linda Rodriguez Martinez, 33, of 108 E. Correll was arrested at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 on warrants for possession of drug paraphernalia, running a stop sign, no insurance and expired registration, two warrants for speeding and charges of no driver's license - SR suspension and no insurance. She was released the next day after paying $2,803.73 in fines.

Jennifer Lynn Shafer, 19, of 110 Martha Jane was arrested at 12:24 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31 on charges of minor driving under the influence of alcohol and no insurance. She was released the same day on $619.50 bond.

Shironda Lynn Robinson Malone, 30, of 908 McGrew was arrested at 5:08 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31 on a warrant for credit card abuse, a Jackson County warrant for driving while license invalid or revoked, a charge of permitting an unlicensed driver to drive, two warrants each for no insurance, issuance of a bad check and speeding and a warrant for disorderly conduct - fighting. She was in a vehicle stopped by police for a defective brake lamp, that was driven by a 13-year-old Malone allegedly allowed to drive. She remained in custody at presstime.

County Jail Bookings Alcohol, drugs

Elijah C. Wright, 18, of 438 Mockingbird was booked Thursday on a warrant for possession of marijuana. He was held as of noon Friday, Feb. 1.

Violence, weapons

Thomas Joseph Munoz, 20, of 306 Bruns was booked Monday, Feb. 28 on warrants for aggravated assault of a public servant and evading arrest. He was held as of noon Friday, Feb. 1.

Other

Scott Cozine, 30, of 301 Correll was booked Thursday, Jan. 31 for probation violation and capias pro fines. He was held as of noon the next day.

James Lloyd Sparks, 56, of 300 Lundy was booked at 3:53 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1 for bond forfeiture. He was held without bond as of noon the same day.
