Kitchen & linen bridal shower honors Laura Beth Hermansen

Laura Beth Hermansen, bride-elect of Shawn Hickl, was given a kitchen and linen shower Saturday morning, Feb. 2 at JBrew Coffee Bar & Studio.

Hostesses were Marilyn Rutledge, Melinda Rainer, Cindy Hickl, Karen Hickl, Sally Hickl, Pam Lester, Cody Morton, Dorothy Morton, Sarah Morton, Naomi Morton, Sandie Roppolo and Rhonda Thompson.

Tables were covered and skirted in white cloth. A floral arrangement in apple green and black, silver and apple green ribbons centered the food table. The entry table held floating candles and photos of the engaged couple.

Refreshments included cake, fruit tray and dip, vegetables and dip, cheese and crackers.

Special guests were Donna Hermansen, mother of the brideto be; Marilyn Rutledge, mother of the future groom; Albina Hickl, grandmother of the future groom; and Stacey Cotton, sister of the bride-to-be.

Hostesses presented the honoree with her selection of stainless steel pots and pans.

Laure Beth and Shawn will be married Feb. 23, 2008.
