Edna Krenek

Edna Trilicek Krenek, 91, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008.

She was born July 27, 1916 in Fayette County to August and Veronica Malinek Trilicek. Recently of La Grange, she was a former longtime resident of Garwood. She was a homemaker and a baby-sitter for many of the families in the Garwood area.

Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Tedder of Glidden and Linda Kirkpatrick of La Grange; sons, Donald Krenek and Billy Joe Krenek, both of Katy; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry Krenek; and 14 brothers and sisters.

Visitation with the family will be today, Wednesday, Feb. 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Triska Funeral Home. The rosary will be Thursday, Feb. 7 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will be Thursday, Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Joe Vrana officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
