Louise Band Boosters Garage Sale Louise Band Booster Club hosts a garage sale at 2813 Meadow Lane today from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Funds raised will help send the students to DisneyWorld. Fibromyalgia Support Group Meeting The Wharton Fibromyalgia Support Group meets today at the main branch of the Wharton Public Library from 10:30 a.m.-noon in the Harrison Conference Room. TUESDAY, FEB. 12 Republican DA Candidates Forum The Wharton County Republican Party will host a candidate forum Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 6 p.m. at the Wharton Civic Center. Republican DA candidates Dawn Allison and Josh McCown will field questions during the forum and all local Republican Party candidates will have an opportunity to address the voters. The forum is free and open to the public. 'Girls of Grace' Conference The Girls of Grace conference, featuring via satellite the gospel group Point of Grace, will be shown at Faith Lutheran Church Saturday, Feb. 23 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Lunch will be provided. The conference will cover topics for girls on how to live their lives the way God wants them to. It will discuss boys, dating, marriage, clothing, parents, friends and more. Send your stories to dmikeska@ecmh.org or mail to El Campo Memorial Hospital, 303 Sandy Corner Road, El Campo, TX 77437. Simply write one page or less about life long ago, growing up, special times, special remembrances, etc. This does not have to be a long detailed story (short and simple will work). Stories will be published in booklets and sold as a Relay For Life fundraiser benefiting cancer survivors. Include your name, address and phone number on all stories submitted.
