Members sign up for Round Up

Members of the El Campo Junior-Senior 4-H Club met Monday, Feb. 4 at Christ Lutheran Church.

The meeting was called to order by senior member Brooke Altenhoff and junior member Emily Strnadel.

Lisa Bubela, senior leader, discussed important items in the monthly newsletter and upcoming deadlines.

Bubela also talked about the importance of each 4-H parent signing up to work at least three hours per child during fair week. It is mandatory that parents work at least three hours for each participating child. A list was passed around so parents could sign up.

Members then had "brag time" and each member around the room discussed what fair project they were participating in and how their project was going.

Kim Cooper, junior 4-H leader, reminded members there were sign up sheets for anyone interested in participating in Round Up.

The meeting was adjourned and everyone enjoyed cookies, brownies and drinks.

The group will meet again Monday, March 3.
