Police Blotter City Arrests Alcohol, drugs Larry Falcon, 45, of 409 Mayfield Ave. was arrested at 1:47 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 on charges of driving while intoxicated - third or more, driving while license suspended - enhanced, expired registration and no insurance, after he allegedly failed to stop after an El Campo police officer tried to pull him over for having expired registration. He was transferred to Wharton County Jail the same day. Crystal Ann Rose, 17, of 37 Serena Dr. was arrested at 10:41 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 on charges of tampering/fabricating physical evidence, possession of less than a gram of a controlled substance, possession of 2 ounces or less of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and minor in possession of tobacco, after being stopped for speeding. Her passengers, Diego Ernesto Delgado and Brian Torres, both 17 and both living at 605 Bruns, were arrested on charges of possession of less than a gram of a controlled substance, possession of 2 ounces or less of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and minor in possession of tobacco. All three were transferred to Wharton County Jail the next day. Omar Herrera, 17, of 608 Cheryl Dr. was arrested at 10:11 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10 on charges of minor driving under the influence of alcohol, no driver's license, no insurance, minor in possession of tobacco, minor in possession of an alcoholic beverage and failure to dim headlights at approaching vehicles and cited for open alcohol container in a motor vehicle. He remained in custody at presstime. Frank Arthur Fry, 32, of 204 Circle Dr. in Wharton was arrested at 10:55 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10 on charges of driving while intoxicated and no insurance and cited for open alcohol container in a motor vehicle, after someone reported a reckless driver to police, and officers saw Fry's vehicle driving down the middle of the road. He was transferred to county jail the next day. Angel Molina Torrecilla, 30, of 911 Washington was arrested at 2:07 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11 on charges of driving while intoxicated and no driver's license after running a red light and swerving from lane to lane. He was transferred to county jail the next day. Public intoxication: 3. Minor assault reports: El Campo area, 1; Taiton area, 1. City Incidents Property Professional Pharmacy, 1264 N. Mechanic, reported criminal mischief causing $100 damage to a window between 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 and 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11. Rebecca Baros reported theft of a $216 lawn trailer parked out front of 2000 Wayne between 10:45 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10 and 8 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11. David's Food Basket, 1270 N. Mechanic, reported criminal mischief between 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 and 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11. Vandals did $1,900 damage to door windows and inside walls, which were spray-painted. County Incidents Property Evelyn Roach reported theft of a 14K gold necklace with a cross, worth $300, and a 14K gold ring with six diamonds worth $1,000 from 3736 CR 408 between noon Jan. 28 and 3 p.m. Jan. 29.
