Big Red
This big Red-tailed Hawk got tired of the nosey photographer approaching her, spread her wings and took off after a rest from Thursday's high winds atop a utility pole at the intersection of Wharton and North Mechanic. The Red-tailed Hawk is generally non-aggressive toward people and other birds, and when threatened by an intruder, will generally flee.
