ECMS cast to present fairy tale play Friday
      Drama students at El Campo Middle School are adding the finishing touches to their first play to be held at the new campus Friday evening. The cast will present the classic fairy tale Cinderella's Glass Slipper. Tickets are $3 and available at the door. Curtain time is 7 p.m., Friday.

      The Brahman District of the Sam Houston Area Council Boy Scouts of America held its annual leader recognition dinner Thursday, Feb. 7 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in El Campo. The KCs provided the dinner for the evening. The district includes Colorado, Matagorda and Wharton counties.
