Engagement party honors Hernandez & Martinez

DUSTIN MARTINEZ & LESLIE HERNANDEZ WEDDING DATE FEB. 14, 2009

An engagement party honoring Leslie Hernandez and Dustin Martinez was held Saturday afternoon, Feb. 16 at the residence of Frank and Marcela Hernandez, grandparents of the future bride.

The party was given by Rafail and Rebecca Lisa Hernandez, parents of the future bride; Ricardo and Lorena Martinez, parents of the future groom; and Frank and Marcela Hernandez.

The registration table was highlighted with a picture of Leslie and Dustin. The dessert table was covered in a silk medium pink tablecloth and decorated with pictures of the engaged couple. Guest tables were draped with black tablecloths. & Martinez

Appetizers of tortilla chips and homemade queso and salsa were served. The dinner menu was Tex-Mex fajitas, rice, beans and tortillas complimented with guacamole, pico de gallo and Mexican caviar. Desserts were a red velvet cake with white butter cream icing and pink and black accents, a twotiered white cake with pineapple filling, frosted with white butter cream icing and decorated with black and pink piping and roses, chocolate brownies decorated with white icing and pink hearts and two conversation heart-shaped chocolate chip cookie cakes which said "Leslie & Dustin, 2-14-09" and "It's about Time."

Leslie and Dustin plan to be married on Feb. 14, 2009.
