'Round the Clock' shower honors Schoelman & Srubar

Amanda Schoelman and Shannon Srubar were honored with a Round the Clock shower Sunday, Feb. 17 from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Dorothy Kubala's barn.

The Western theme decor consisted of cowboy hats, bales of hay, bandanas and a large wagon wheel chair. The couple was presented straw hats and bandana corsages.

The hostesses served barbecued burgers with trimmings, dip, chips, beans and tea. The cake was a large cowboy boot of marble flavor.

Special guests included Dale and Connie Schoelman, Amanda's parents; Andy and Diann Srubar, Shannon's parents; and Dorothy Kubala, Shannon's grandmother.

Hostesses were Slate and Laura Srubar of Victoria; Jon and Sandi Bystrek of Victoria; Ryan and Keri Lambeth of Victoria; Jordan Kubala of Katy; Koy and Lora Kubala of Lubbock; Haley Kubala of El Campo; Kaydi Kubala and Kody Kubala of Alpine.

The couple will be married March 29, 2008 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church.
