Parties honor newborn & parents

TATUM WALKER
Two parties were held Saturday, Feb. 16, to welcome Tatum Lane Walker to El Campo. Tatum was born Jan. 16 in Corpus Christi and made her first trip to El Campo for her one-month-old birthday.

Tatum was introduced first in the morning at a shower from 10 a.m. to noon at Christ Lutheran Church fellowship hall in El Campo. Guests attending were family, including great-aunts and uncles, as well as cousins and friends of her family.

Hostesses were Becky Konarik, Sandra Mach, Brenda Mach, Heather Willis, Amber Willis, Nicole Beaver and Audra Konarik.

The hall was decorated with bunnies and pastel colors, and pink and lavender flowers. Fresh fruit, breakfast casserole and cake were served with punch and coffee. Special guests were Chelsey Walker of Bishop, mother; Rhonda Freeman, grandmother; and Joann and V.J. Mach, great-grandparents.

The second party was held to honor Tatum and her parents, Chelsey Walker and Clint Willis, at the home of Paige and Paul Curran, CR 346, El Campo at 6 p.m. Also hosting the party were Jake and Ross Curran.

Guests enjoyed holding Tatum and social time with family and friends. Guests also enjoyed a wide assortment of hors d'oeuvres and beverages.

Special guests were Rhonda Freeman, Joann and V.J. Mach, Heather and Amber Willis of Corpus Christi, aunts; Becky Konarik, Brenda and Randy Mach and Sandra Mach, greataunts and uncles.
