Patricia L. Ullmann Mrs. Patricia Louann Hunt Ullmann, 60, of Wharton, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2008 at her residence following a sudden illness. She was born on Aug. 19, 1947 in Newport, Ark. the daughter of Marvin Alvin Hunt and Louise Carr Hunt. Mrs. Ullmann has been a resident of Wharton since 1965 and was a former resident of Freeport. She married Frederick Paul (Freddy) Ullmann on July 31, 1965 in Freeport and he preceded her in death on Nov. 8, 2003. Mrs. Ullmann graduated from Brazosport High School in 1965. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse and had worked at Gulf Coast Medical Center and Wharton Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Wharton. She and her husband were active with the Wharton Girls Softball League for many years. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Bryan Janda of El Campo; son and daughter-in-law, Clayton and Donna Ullmann of Wharton; parents, Marvin and Louise Hunt of Wharton; grandchildren, Kevin Hamby, Staci Paul, Traci Paul, Christopher Janda and Matthew Janda. A wake service was recited Monday, Feb. 18 at 7 p.m. at the chapel of the Wharton Funeral Home and funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 19 at the Wharton Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Alvin Matthys officiating. Burial followed at the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton. Pallbearers were Richard Lockley, Kevin Hamby, Irvin Ullmann, Butch Stolle, Stephen Ullmann and Al Janda. In lieu of usual remembrances the family requests memorials to your favorite charity. |
