Paul Ashworth Paul Ashworth Paul Ashworth, 78, of Lake Kiowa, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2008. He was born April 27, 1929 in Erie, Penn., to George and Wilda Wilkinson Ashworth. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Ashworth of Lake Kiowa; sons, Mark Ashworth of Dallas and George Ashworth of LaPorte; sisters, Mary Anne Ashworth and Marie Paul Ashworth, SSJ, both of Erie; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services were held Friday, Feb. 8 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Pat Murphy, O.S.A., officiating. A memorial service will be conducted in Erie at a later date. Burial followed at the DFW National Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville.
