For A Good Cause
Kenneth Hermansen decided to let go of his 2-year-old ponytail and get a "regular haircut" from Jan Dornak of Hair Enterprises during this year's Cuts for Cancer fundraiser, held at salons all over town recently. Hermansen, whose mother died of cancer, said he "knew about the program, so I decided I'd just do this." The Penner Electric employee even had coworker Patrick Andrade on hand to ensure the cut took place, and said his 96- year-old grandmother will be "thrilled to death I'm getting it cut."
