Transformer party honors Oziel Vazquez Jr.

Oziel Vazquez Jr. celebrated his ninth birthday from 4:30-6 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 23 at Mr. Gatti's.

His actual birthday was Feb. 20.

His parents, Osiel and Tina Vazquez, and little sister, Anahi, hosted the Transformer themed party.

Balloons decorated the party area. Guests were served pizza, salad, soup, tea, soda and cake.

Special guests were his grandmother, Maria Gonzales of El Campo; his aunts, Rosa Aranda, Adela Gonzales, Joyce Gonzales, Margaret Solis and Rosemary Gonzales, all of El Campo; and his uncles, Tony Solis and Silvestre Rodriguez of El Campo.

Also, Nora Gonzales of Columbus, Mari Morales of Beasley, Lilia P. Chuy of Harlingen and several cousins.

The birthday boy received toys, gift cards, money and clothes from family members.

The party proceeded to his home where a Transformer piñata was broken.
