Teachers host baby shower for couple

Brent and Natalie Irby were given a baby shower Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 20 at the Brazos Elementary School Library. Natalie's fourth grade team teachers hosted the party.

The theme, taken from the nursery rhyme Rub-A-Dub- Dub, includes various colored rubber ducks.

Refreshments included a vegetable tray with dip, assorted fresh fruit tray, pretzels, mints, a Rub-A-Dub-Dub decorated white sheet cake and punch.

Special guests were Linda Irby of Fulshear and Benny and Lena Tupa of El Campo, all grandparents-to-be.

The hostesses presented the couple with their chosen diaper bag filled with goodies.
