LISD may name new AD Tuesday

Louise trustees will work to define the role of athletic director during a special called meeting Tuesday night.

The agenda for the meeting

includes discussing and approving locations worldwide.

an employment contract and pay package for a new athletic director position. Current AD and head football coach Rodney Dowell resigned Feb. 19 to be closer to family in West Texas. His contract expires in June, but he may leave earlier if he acquires a new position.

Trustees will also discuss creating a part-time curriculum coordinator position. The meeting takes place at 6:30 p.m. March 4 in the board meeting room, 408 Second.
