Dora Mican Dora Mae Mican, 67, of El Campo, died Sunday, March 2, 2008. She was born on Jan. 22, 1941 in El Campo to Willie and Johanna Bram Saman. Dora and her late husband Delphine owned and operated D & D Grocery for 15 years. Survivors include her sister, Irene Luedecke of El Campo; nieces and nephews, Jay Luedecke of Sealy, Glen Luedecke of Louise, Debbie Miller of Stephenville, Ronnie Saman of Needville, Rickie Saman, Randy Saman of Angleton, Donna Welch of Rosenberg and Darryl Krejci of El Campo; sisters-in-law, Gerri Chandler of Stafford and Jan Saman of Angleton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delphine Mican; and brother Floyd Saman. Visitation will begin today, Wednesday, March 5 at 11 a.m. at Triska Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends today (Wednesday) at Triska Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 6 at 10 a.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church with the Rev. Clyde Grier officiating. Interment will be at the Holy Cross Memorial Park under the direction of Triska Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers are Jay Luedecke, Glen Luedecke, Ronnie Saman, Rickie Saman, Randy Saman and Darryl Krejci. Memorials in memory of Dora Mae Mican may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, Hospice Support, Inc., American Cancer Society or M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. |
