Bernice Brod

Bernice Catherine Brod, 88, of El Campo, died Friday, March 7, 2008.

She was born July 17, 1919 in Luling to Hardy and Alice Norwood Conley. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Denton of Los Altos, Calif.; son, Melvin Brod of Cypress; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, L.B. Brod; sister, Gladys; brothers, Donald, Wilburn, A.J. and Buddy.

Visitation is today, Saturday at 12 noon at Triska Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Sunday, March 9 at 2 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Clyde Grier officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of Triska Funeral Home.

Donations in memory of Bernice Brod may be made to the First Lutheran Church.
